Directions

The office is located in Westchester County in the Hansa Building at 150 Purchase Street in Rye, NY. It is conveniently located directly across from the Rye train station which uses the Metro North train Red line from Grand Central in NYC, a 30 minute train ride. For out of town patients, the office can be reached via the train or a 30 minute cab ride from La Guardia Airport.

FROM LONG ISLAND/QUEENS/BROOKLYN:

  • Take the Whitestone Bridge to the Hutchinson River Parkway North
  • Stay on the Hutch into Westchester and get off at exit 15A/287 East.
  • Stay on 287 East for about 5 minutes and get off at Exit 11/Rye.
  • Make a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 1.
  • Go straight and make a right at the third light onto Purdy Ave.
  • At the end of Purdy, make a right onto Purchase Street.
  • Go under the train tracks and our building will be the first red brick building called The Hansa Building) on the right #150. Park in the lot at the end of the building and walk to the front and enter in the door that has the bench in front of it. Take the elevator to the third floor, and our office is on the right.

FROM NEW YORK CITY

From the East Side:

  • Take the Major Deegan (87) out of the city to exit 4 Cross County Parkway and follow signs for Hutchinson River Parkway North.
  • Stay on the Hutch into Westchester and get off at exit 15A/287 East.
  • Stay on 287 East for about 5 minutes and get off at Exit 11/Rye.
  • Make a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 1.
  • Go straight and make a right at the third light onto Purdy Ave.
  • At the end of Purdy, make a right onto Purchase Street.
  • Go under the train tracks and our building will be the first red brick building on the right, #150. Park in the lot at the end of the building and walk to the front and enter in the door that has the bench in front of it. Take the elevator to the third floor and our office is on the right.

From the West Side:

  • Take the West Side Highway out of the city until it turns into the Henry Hudson Parkway; get off Exit 4 Cross County Parkway and follow signs for the Hutchinson River Parkway
  • Stay on the Hutch into Westchester and get off at exit 15A/287 East.
  • Stay on 287 East for about 5 minutes and get off at Exit 11/Rye.
  • Make a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 1.

FROM NEW YORK CITY BY METRO NORTH TRAIN

  • Take the Metro North New Haven Line (the red line) from Grand Central Station.
  • Purchase your ticket to Rye ahead of time to avoid a surcharge on the train
  • Consult the person at the information booth under the big clock as to what track your train leaves from or consult the time table boards on the wall for the New Haven Line.
  • Get off at the Rye stop, right after Harrison. Make sure you are taking a local train, not an express train that  goes straight to Stamford.  If you are unsure, ask the conductor before you get on the train that it stops at Rye.
  • It is best to be in the last car of the train as you have to cross the tracks when you disembark the train. There is a stairway going across the tracks and an elevator that takes you to the walkway as well.
  • Once you are on the other side of the tracks, you will be in the middle of a commuter parking lot. Walk over to the driveway the cars use to come in and out of the lot.
  • At the bottom of the driveway, look down to your left and you will see a four way intersection. Walk there and get on the sidewalk on the right which will be our street, Purchase Street. Our building will be the first red brick building on the right. Enter into the second door that has #150 on it, the door with the bench outside. Take the elevator to the third floor, and our office is on the right.

FROM NEW JERSEY

From the George Washington Bridge:

  • After crossing the bridge, follow signs for the Henry Hudson Parkway North (stay in the far right lane while crossing the bridge)
  • Upon leaving the bridge, follow the sign at the fork for Upstate North.
  • Stay on the Henry Hudson Parkway through Riverdale and get off at Exit 4 Cross County Parkway and follow signs for the Hutchinson River Parkway.
  • Stay on the Hutch into Westchester and get off at exit 15A/287 East.
  • Stay on 287 East for about 5 minutes and get off at Exit 11/Rye.
  • Make a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 1.
  • Go straight and make a right at the third light onto Purdy Ave.
  • At the end of Purdy, make a right onto Purchase Street.
  • Go under the train tracks and our building will be the first red brick building on the right, #150. Park in the lot at the end of the building and walk to the front and enter in the door that has the bench in front of it. Take the elevator to the third floor, and our office is on the right.

From the Tappan Zee Bridge:

  • After crossing the TZB, follow signs for Route 287 East.
  • Stay on 287 and get off at Exit 11/Rye.
  • Make a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 1.
  • Go straight and make a right at the third light onto Purdy Ave.
  • At the end of Purdy, make a right onto Purchase Street.
  • Go under the train tracks and our building will be the first red brick building on the right, #150. Park in the lot at the end of the building and walk to the front and enter in the door that has the bench in front of it. Take the elevator to the third floor and our office is on the right.

COMING FROM THE NORTH

  • From Route 84 or 684, go south and get off at Route 287 East.
  • Stay on 287 East and get off at Exit 11/Rye.
  • Make a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 1.
  • Go straight and make a right at the third light onto Purdy Ave.
  • At the end of Purdy, make a right onto Purchase Street.
  • Go under the train tracks and our building will be the first red brick building on the right, #150. Park in the lot at the end of the building and walk to the front and enter in the entrance that has the bench in front of it. Take the elevator to the third floor and our office is on the right.

 

  • From the Merritt Parkway, go south to the Hutchinson River Parkway to Route 287 East
  • Stay on 287 East and get off at Exit 11/Rye.
  • Make a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 1.
  • Go straight and make a right at the third light onto Purdy Ave.
  • At the end of Purdy, make a right onto Purchase Street.
  • Go under the train tracks and our building will be the first red brick building on the right, #150. Park in the lot at the end of the building and walk to the front and enter in the entrance that has the bench in front of it. Take the elevator to the third floor and our office is on the right.

 

  • From 95 North – go south to Exit 21; when ramp splits, take Port Chester ramp to right to Midland Ave. Turn left onto Midland Ave
  • At the next light, make a right onto Peck Ave.
  • At the next light, make a left onto Route 1 north (Boston Post Road)
  • Make a right at the light onto Purdy Ave, take it to the end to Purchase Street and make a right.
  • Our building is #150, the first red brick building on the right. Park in the lot at the end of the building and walk toward the front and enter in the door #150 that has the bench outside. Take the elevator to the third floor, and our office is on the right.

BY AMTRAK TRAIN:

The Amtrak line from the north and south goes to Penn Station in NYC. From there, walk or take a taxi to Grand Central Station and then follow the directions above from Grand Central. The Amtrak line also stops in New Rochelle, a town a few stops away from Rye.

FOR OUT-OF-TOWN PATIENTS:

  • If you are flying into the NY area, the two closest airports are Westchester County Airport in White Plains and LaGuardia Airport in Queens. You can take a taxi or car service to our office.
  • If you need to stay in a local hotel, two recommendations are the Rye Town Hilton at 914-939-6300 or the Westchester Renaissance Hotel at 914-694-5400.
